As the daughter of an alcoholic, I learned at a very young age to turn to fictional worlds for escape.  I have a special affinity for characters who live in the shadows but refuse to be defined by the darkness that surrounds them.   I love exploring deep emotions, bringing happily ever afters to life on the page… and Glacier Mint ice cream.

When I'm not in the middle of creating fiery conflict between passionate lovers, I enjoy living in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with my own real life "Survivor Man" and three awesome sons.
